Dalel Tangour's photographs are often presented in the form of installations that give them a special setting. She explores the different situations of everyday life by investigating places, capturing both the ordinary and the extraordinary. Whether in the intimate spaces of interiors, in the heart of the medina or in the surrounding open spaces, her photographs capture both the familiarity and the strangeness of places. Through high-contrast shots, she visually immortalises the clues and signs of these vanished histories, preserving their memory.
