Founded in 2018 by Yasmine Azzi-Kohlhepp, AYN GALLERY was born from the desire to bring together emerging and established artists from the Maghreb, sub-Saharan Africa, and the diaspora. The gallery is committed to fostering dialogue and openness through international collaborations and a multidisciplinary program.
Drawing on extensive expertise in art and design consultancy, production management, and curatorial practice, Yasmine Azzi-Kohlhepp has shaped a curatorial approach that highlights contemporary works alongside exclusive and limited-edition design pieces. Her commitment extends beyond exhibitions: she supports artists and collectors in the realization of bespoke projects, assembling teams of skilled professionals to bring unique artistic visions to life.
AYN GALLERY actively supports its artists by collaborating with other galleries and organizing exhibitions enhanced by special invitations, even beyond its own walls.

The name "AYN", meaning "eye" in Hebrew and Arabic, and "source" in Arabic, embodies a gallery open to the world, where heritage and modernity intersect. Carrying the initials of its founder, AYN explores cultural dialogues through exhibitions that bring together painting, sculpture, design, installation, film, photography, drawing, and ceramics.
Yasmine Azzi-Kohlhepp is also the founder and co-editor of Éditions du Crieur Public, established in 2010 in Hamburg. With a background in journalism and artistic training, she guides artists through the production of monographs and catalogues.
In its mission to foster dialogue between East and West and to build bridges between cultures, artists, and audiences, Éditions du Crieur Public, specializing in humanities and social sciences, serves as a natural extension of AYN GALLERY, enhancing intellectual exchanges and critical discourse.
